Dr Shady AlKhazzam, Medical Physicists from Qatar Medical Physics Society (QaMPS) is a member of American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) since 2019, as a result for his successful teamwork with Dr Ioannis Tsalafoutas and other Physicists in Qatar, Dr. Shadi was selected to serve as a member of the special AAPM task group TG368, about “Methodology for establishing exam-specific target exposure indices in general radiography”. This task group is charged with summarizing current vendor implementations of the IEC exposure index and establishing a methodology for determining and implementing exam-specific exposure index target values.
