Middle East Federation of Organizations of Medical Physics (MEFOMP) in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar Medical Physics Society (QaMPS), and the International Organization for Medical Physics (IOMP), commemorates the International Day of Medical Physics (IDMP) 2025 under the inspiring theme: “Celebrating Innovation and Impact – Advancing Healthcare through Medical Physics and Emerging Technologies.”
This year’s celebration highlighted the vital role of Medical Physicists in enhancing patient care, promoting safety, and driving innovation in healthcare through the integration of advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Proton Therapy, Theranostic, Digital Twin Model of SPECT-CT, Robotics in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine and Radiotherapy, 3D Printing Phantoms, Cyberknife and Telemedicine.
As part of the commemoration, HMC prepared a bilingual poster in Arabic and English, designed to be shared and used widely across institutions. The poster highlights the significance of the International Day of Medical Physics and serves as a visual tribute to the ongoing contributions of medical physicists in advancing healthcare.
Through this celebration, HMC and its partners reaffirmed their dedication to empowering medical physicists and strengthening international collaboration in advancing healthcare technologies. The event not only honored the contributions of medical physicists worldwide but also inspired the next generation to continue shaping a safer, smarter, and more innovative future in medicine.
