Dr. Madan Rehani, IOMP President was the main speaker of this special training course which is titled “Medical Physics Training for Medical Students”. Since the name of Medical Physicists say that it is Medical Professional. Any medical student may come across Medical Physicists in every day work for every single patient to deal with if he became a Radiation Oncologist or Radiologists or Heart Rhythm Specialists or Vascular Surgeon etc. These specialists need an advice from Medical Physicists about the patient safety. It is desirable that medical students get acquainted with Medical Physics.
From Weil Cornell Medical College Dr. Mohamed Yousef was the counterpart for this event. More than 50 students from Weil Cornell Medical College attended the training session for 2 days and the feedback was remarkable.
