Dr. Hadi Fayad, was awarded MEFOMP Young Scientist Award 2022 during the International day of Medical Physics (IDMP) 2022 celebration held in Doha, Qatar, the award was presented by Dr. Huda Al Naemi, Past President of MEFOMP. The award aims to recognize significant contributions and to recognize young scientists work in Medical Physics.
Dr. Fayad works at Hamad Medical Corporation as a PET/CT Medical Physicist, based on his excellent research and teaching record, he was also appointed as an affiliate Assistant Professor of Research in Radiology at WCM-Q. He is involved in clinical practice, educational activities as well as many research activities. This helped him also to obtain the Bruce Hasegawa Young Investigator Medical Imaging Science Award, IEEE, NPSS in October 2017.
Dr. Hadi have more than 30 peer reviewed papers in a well ranked journals such as JNM, Medical physics, and PMB, in addition to one book chapter, more than 10 invited speaker, one software disclosure and more than 50 Peer-reviewed conference papers and conference abstracts.
