MEFOMP Congratulates Monterrey (Mexico) for winning the bid to host the IUPESM World Congress 2028. The other bidders were Brussels (Belgium), Dublin (Ireland), Stockholm (Sweden) and Washington DC (USA).
This bid was submitted by both Mexicans Societies of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering with the support of the Universities of Mexico and Latin-American, in addition to the support of the industry. It is worth noting that Monterrey (Mexico) has healthcare standards above the average for Mexico, with four JCI accredited hospitals. In addition to the latest in medical research as Monterrey has the best ranked universities in Mexico. Furthermore, there are three BME programs and Science Labs.
