MEFOMP is very happy to inform all medical Physicists that Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and the University of Trieste, Italy announcing the ninth Master of Advanced Studies in Medical Physics (MMP). This is a two-year training program, under the patronage of the Trieste University Hospital. MEFOMP is one of the sponsors for this Master.
This MMP will be held from 1 January 2022 until 31 December 2023 leading to Master’s Degree in Medical Physics and is designed to provide young, promising graduates of physics or related fields (mainly from developing countries) with postgraduate theoretical and clinical training so that candidates may be recognized as clinical medical physicists in their home countries.
The program is accredited by the IOMP and there will be limited number of full or partial scholarships awarded to successful candidates from developing countries, through the support of the IAEA and ICTP.
