Training Methodologies for radiation safety Trainers Workshop

All physicists and medical physicists in HMC attended the workshop of “Training Methodologies for Trainers” as part of continues education for them and as quality improvement section, since medical physicists are highly involved in the medical training program as trainers. Dr. Huda Al Naemi, , QaMPS president  organizing the workshop , while an invited speaker Mr. Anthony Ralston, Director of AR Education Technology from Canada and expert in educational design and consultancy facilitated all the individual and group work activities where the participants engaged themselves in various group work related to identifying training needs, designing for training programs, and the use of evaluation models and the various available technology in training delivery. Mr. Anthony Ralston is coopting with IAEA in designing the training programs.

At the end of the workshop, the participants received individual certificate of completion for their active participation. Various responses of improved skills in training and education delivery were received from the attendees at the end of the workshop.
