Women's Committee of MEFOMP participated in Kuwait Exhibition

The Women’s Committee of MEFOMP for Medical Physics in the Middle East, a subcommittee in the Association of Medical Physics participated in an exhibition within the activities of the 7^th  Nuclear Medicine Conference of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (7NMCNMMI) in Kuwait and 1^st for West Asian Association, chaired by Dr. Fahad Abdul Rahman Marafi, Director of Jaber Al-Ahmad Center for Molecular Imaging. The Committee also distributed joining requests sample papers for the committee and other publications explaining the tasks of medical physics specialty and presented the tools as well used in quality control and the latest devices to detect radiation. A group of physicians, physicists and specialists from more than 15 countries around the world visited the exhibition. The conference lasted for two days on 26 and 27 October 2019.Dr. Hanan Al-Dossari, Chairman of the Women’s physicists Committee in Kuwait and Ms. Iman Mardi from Bahrain as a member of the Board of Directors of the Committee participated in the exhibition as well as physicists and members of the Committee from the Medical Physics Unit at Jaber Al-Ahmad Center for Molecular Imaging in Kuwait, A meeting session to discuss the future plan for the work of the Committee was also held.
